You did this last year but it's fun so... Do it again.

Take a Line for a Walk

Make a line that curves, zigs and zags, has corners, etc. all around the paper (Screen). Turn the paper around until you see something that you can develop. Begin adding pattern, example - turn something into an elaborate eye, add more facial detail, add more pattern, keep going until the page is filled with pattern, thickened lines (from your original lines) to add emphasis, etc.

Start with lines, shapes, etc.

Now flip it

Draw and turn it into ???   Join the lines and make to live paint.  use paint bucket to color it in.
Graded on time spent on project, quality and creativity.

fluorescent transparency

I am giving the AP music exam today so you have Mr. Z. to entertain you.  Grades are in and are set.  The only changes I can make are if I have made a mistake.  It is too late to turn in assignments for the grading period that ended Friday.  One exception (I will still accept the Dolphin Project)

Todays lesson is...

Bring a fluorescent transparency to life in Illustrator

Using Illustrator with finesse and perfecting the finer details can take  practice. This tutorial looks at a selection of transparency and gradient tools and uses them to create a lifelike but contemporary animal study. The techniques covered can be applied to any subject matter that requires a striking dynamic look or an elegant subtle shine.
